After the formal meeting there will be a talk by Tom Burns, Emeritus Professor of Social Psychiatry at the University of Oxford, on ‘Compulsion and Coercion- are Community Treatment Orders Effective’. Professor Burns has written extensively on CTOs and directed OCTET, the Oxford Community Treatment Evaluation Trial.
